Built numerous proof-of-concept web and mobile apps as part of an internal research & development team. I participated in outlining feature sets and identifying technical requirements for projects, as well as provided technical assessments of frameworks, libraries, and services to meet those needs. Built multiple app (web and native) front ends, as well as one large React-based CMS to support an iOS/Android app.

Company was acquired by CBS Interactive in Q1 2019, just before my departure.
Built out new features, redesigned and streamlined existing pages, and made incremental changes to our advertising system. >80% of traffic was mobile, so effort was focused on balancing user experience with business goals. My work regularly required mediating between business, creative, and editorial aspects of the company to ensure that the dev team's solutions served the overall project goals.

Responsible for turning comps and wireframes into code with an emphasis on fully responsive websites. Collaborated with designers and back-end developers to determine the best usability and information architecture for a given client. Learned popular APIs like Google, Twitter and Facebook. Worked to improve workflow and efficiency for the team as a whole, as well as investigated tools to automate and streamline development tasks.

Maintained Tire Rack's brand identity while integrating the standards and artwork of numerous well-known national and international clients in the automotive industry. Worked with social media (Facebook, Youtube and Google+), email marketing campaigns, and performed usability testing of our mobile redesign.
